The Top 16 Youth-Owned Brands Awards (Top 16 YOBAs) are back for another year, and we are thrilled to announce the nominees for the 2023 awards ceremony. This year's awards will be led by the Festival of Youth-Owned Brands that will take place from 09:00 – 17:00 (Day 1) and 09:00 – 15:00 followed by an award ceremony from 18:00 (Day 2) on the 14th and 15th of June 2023 at the Sandton Convention Centre, followed by the awards ceremony on the evening of the 15th.
The Top 16 YOBAs were established in 2022 to recognize and celebrate young entrepreneurs who have created and grown successful businesses in South Africa. The awards aim to inspire and encourage young people to pursue entrepreneurship and to support the growth of small businesses in the country.
From a total of 2513 submitted nominations, this year's shortlisted nominees are a diverse group of young entrepreneurs who have created innovative and successful businesses across a range of industries.
