KOTA FESTIVAL TOUR RETURNS BIGGER AND BETTER WITH GROUNDBREAKING PARTNERSHIP AND NATIONWIDE EXPANSION

The nationally renowned Kota Festival is back with a bang and is set to take South Africa by storm. This year’s festival is poised to go bigger and better than ever, with an exciting new collaboration between the festival and some of the country’s most iconic brands. In an unprecedented move, the Kota Festival Tour will be powered by a strategic partnership with leading brands such as Albany and All Gold, promising a truly vibrant celebration of South African culture, food, and creativity.

The highlight of the announcement is the groundbreaking three-year partnership deal, which sees Albany step in as the title sponsor of the Kota Festival Tour with a remarkable R12.9 million investment. This is the first time a sponsorship of this magnitude has been introduced in the Kota Festival eventing space, marking a historic milestone for the festival and its partners.

As the official title sponsor, Albany will support 24 events across South Africa over the next three years, bringing together a dynamic mix of food lovers, cultural enthusiasts, and local businesses. The sponsorship also reflects Albany and Tiger Brands’ commitment to empowering the informal market, with a focus on creating over 2,000 job opportunities during the events.

In addition to Albany’s sponsorship, the Kota Festival Tour is thrilled to announce the involvement of All Gold Tomato Sauce as a key partner. This marks an exciting collaboration between All Gold and its sister brand, Albany, to further strengthen Tiger Brands’ commitment to the informal market. Through this partnership, both brands will ensure that festival-goers across the country have access to high-quality products while showcasing the diverse, delicious flavours that South Africa is known for.

The Kota Festival Tour made its debut in Gauteng in 2023 as the first-ever event of its kind, and its nationwide expansion in 2024 promises even greater excitement. The tour will bring together a vibrant celebration of South African food, music, art, and culture, spotlighting the iconic Kota, a delicious local street food that has become a cultural staple. From Cape Town to Durban, Pretoria to Bloemfontein, the festival will tour various provinces, creating unforgettable experiences for festival-goers of all ages.
